Our 1st graders started the new year by reading “The Gift of Words” by Peter H. Reynolds. After reading, students brainstormed a list of positive, hope-filled words for 2026. Each child chose one meaningful word to guide them through the year. They each created bracelets featuring their chosen word and wrote about how they plan to live it out in 2026.
