This afternoon I was contacted about an injured osprey that was hanging out on a branch in the water for a few hours. Most wildlife centers close at 5pm and don’t re-open until 8 or 9 am, which leaves injured animals exposed with nobody able to help, and the finders upset that they are unable to do more for the injured animal.
